If you cut and color your hair, please visit your stylist 2-3 weeks before your photo shoot so you know you love your new look. You might want to have a fresh coat of nail polish or manicure a day or two before. Not required, but why not go all out! We’d like you to show up natural. No makeup and clean dry hair. Yes we’re going to take an amazing all natural before photo. My hair and makeup artist is going to discuss with you if you would like to be very natural or go all out with those Smokey eyes and false lashes. Relax and be transformed. Bring four-five out fits. Jeans and a T shirt, fun and flirty sun dress all the way to a flowing formal. Think layers, sweaters, jackets, scarfs, hats, accessories! Whatever you feel comfortable in, that compliments your personality. Bring clothes that you would want to be captured in. Don’t overthink how you look in certain clothes. Don’t try to hide in flowing layered attire if that is not your style. Form fitting is actually better. I have poses that will slim you down in camera as well as a few Photoshop touch-up techniques, for little nips and tucks. Throw out the ‘I have a few pounds to loose’ excuse. If you are having photos with loved ones, coordinate colors, but allow personality. Little boys in plaid, mom in floral, dad in a plain button down, mix and match until you find what you love! Especially for senior shoots, feel free to bring props. Let’s showcase your personality. Do you play an instrument or a sport? Perhaps you are known for always having your nose in a book. Let me know ahead of time so I can scout out ideas, but absolutely! Let’s have fun! Don’t forget to plan a night out with the girls or date with your spouse after your session. You will look amazing! You’re walking out of a model shoot! Feel free to message me with questions and or ideas.
